日式烧饼 (Okonomiyaki)
Ingredients: (Make 2)
- 90g Low Protein Flour
- 160ml Water
- 1 tsp Chicken Stock Powder
- 0.5 tsp Baking Powder
- 2 Eggs
- 300g Cabbage (Cut into strips)
- Some Crab Sticks (cut into small pieces)
Toppings:
- Kewpie Mayonnaise
- Okonomi Sauce
- Aonori (Seaweed Flakes)
- Katsuobushi (Bonito Flakes)
Methods:
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, chicken stock powder, baking powder and Water until smooth
- Add eggs, cabbage and crab sticks and mix well.
- Heat up pan with some cooking oil and add the mixture divided into two pancakes around 2cm thick.
- Cook about 3-4 minutes, flip over pancake and cook for another 4 minutes or until lightly brown.
- Remove to plate and drizzle with Kewpie mayonnaise, okonomi sauce and sprinkle with Aonori and Katsuobushi. Serve it hot!
