日式烧饼 (Okonomiyaki)

Ingredients: (Make 2)
  • 90g Low Protein Flour
  • 160ml Water
  • 1 tsp Chicken Stock Powder
  • 0.5 tsp Baking Powder
  • 2 Eggs
  • 300g Cabbage (Cut into strips)
  • Some Crab Sticks (cut into small pieces)
Toppings:
  • Kewpie Mayonnaise   
  • Okonomi Sauce          
  • Aonori (Seaweed Flakes)    
  • Katsuobushi (Bonito Flakes)   
Methods:
  1. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, chicken stock powder, baking powder and Water until smooth
  2. Add eggs, cabbage and crab sticks and mix well.
  3. Heat up pan with some cooking oil and add the mixture divided into two pancakes around 2cm thick.
  4. Cook about 3-4 minutes, flip over pancake and cook for another 4 minutes or until lightly brown.
  5. Remove to plate and drizzle with Kewpie mayonnaise, okonomi sauce and sprinkle with Aonori and Katsuobushi. Serve it hot!
